Partners
The development of Lelystad as a logistics hotspot is a joint effort. With partners such as TMA, MRA, the municipality and Horizon Flevoland, we combine knowledge, networks and initiatives to offer entrepreneurs the best conditions for growth and innovation. This cooperation forms the basis for a strong regional economy.
Municipality of Lelystad
Lelystad Municipality is actively working towards a strong and future-proof business climate. With short lines of communication, a pragmatic approach and an eye for practice, the municipality supports entrepreneurs at every step: from establishment to expansion.
Lelystad thinks along, shifts gears quickly and always looks for solutions that make growth possible. Intensive cooperation with business and education creates an environment in which plans actually get off the ground and ambitions become reality.
Horizon Flevoland
Horizon Flevoland is Flevoland’s regional development corporation and an important partner for forward-looking entrepreneurs.
Horizon stimulates innovation, investment and growth, supporting companies that want to start, scale up or establish themselves in the region. With knowledge, a network, financing opportunities and a strong connection with government and education, Horizon helps entrepreneurs make an impact. In this way, the organization contributes to a future in which Flevoland grows into a leading region for enterprising, innovative Holland.
Metropolitan Region of Amsterdam (MRA).
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is a partnership of the provinces of North Holland and Flevoland, 30 municipalities and the Amsterdam Transportation Region. The strength of the MRA lies in the diversity of cities, economies and landscapes, which reinforce each other within one integrated region.
Within this network, Lelystad works together on issues related to the economy, space and mobility so that companies benefit from a strongly connected market and a broad regional labor and knowledge base. Through coordination at both sub-regional and MRA levels, projects and developments connect seamlessly with the region’s ambitions, creating a strong foundation for sustainable growth and accessibility.
TMA Multimodal
TMA Multimodal is a logistics service provider with multiple container terminals and a strong focus on barge connections between Rotterdam, Antwerp and the northern Netherlands.
With the acquisition of CTU Flevokust, TMA has further broadened its range of services and offers at Flevokust Haven modern facilities for storage and transshipment, reefer connections and efficient container transport via water, rail and road. Thanks to scale, flexibility and customization, TMA offers companies optimal logistics support, both for daily flows and for specific or last-minute logistics needs. From Lelystad, TMA is working on further growth and expansion so that companies can count on future-oriented, sustainable and efficient logistics solutions.
Flevoland Province
The province supports Flevoland companies as they step into the future, with benefits for both entrepreneurs and society. Many companies are already investing in digitalization, sustainability and innovation, driven by the growing demand for climate-conscious, energy-efficient and circular business models.
Digital economy
The economy is becoming increasingly digital. Technologies such as 5G, IoT, cloud, AI, big data, quantum computing and blockchain offer new opportunities, but also bring risks. We help entrepreneurs grow in this.
Platform Circular Flevoland
With the Platform Circular Flevoland, we stimulate circular initiatives. Entrepreneurs, experts, students and governments work together here, share knowledge and develop new circular business cases.
Lelystad Airport Businesspark
Lelystad Airport Businesspark (LAB) is a forward-looking business park where sustainable logistics, innovation and aviation come together. Located between the A6 motorway and Lelystad Airport, LAB offers a strategic location for companies looking to grow in an environment that combines space, accessibility and a future-oriented focus.
Sustainable area development
As the first BREEAM-NL certified business park in the Netherlands, LAB represents sustainable area development, with a strong focus on energy, mobility and a healthy working environment. Companies benefit from high-quality infrastructure and a setting designed for efficiency and scalability.
Logistics network
With its direct proximity to Lelystad Airport and connections to road, water, rail and air transport, LAB forms a key link within the regional logistics network. The park offers space for companies that want to innovate, operate more sustainably and future-proof their logistics processes.
House of Logistics Flevoland
House of Logistics Flevoland is a collaboration between government, logistics companies and educational institutions. The aim of this partnership is to train more people, and better, for careers in logistics.
House of Logistics achieves this by increasing awareness of the sector among different target groups and by developing a modular and flexible education system that guides people sustainably towards logistics professions.
By continuously staying connected with supply chain partners and logistics companies in the Almere – Lelystad – Zeewolde region, we are building a sustainable, adaptive and practice-oriented education system that aligns with developments in the logistics sector.
